Canon i320 Waste Full Error

codes for reset:

1. Press and hold the POWER button
2. Turn off the printer by disconnecting the printer power cable,
3. turn on the printer, still holding the POWER button
The indicator (L.E.D.) should be green.
4. Press and release the RESUME button , the indicator (L.E.D.) should be orange.
5. Press and release the RESUME button again, the indicator (L.E.D.) should be green.
6. Release both buttons.
7. Reconnect the printer cable.
8. And it should be reset.

Canon i90 Waste Ink Tank Full

1) Close the print head cover, and turn off the printer. While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press the Power button. (Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)

2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (Do not release the Power button.)

3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button three times, and then release the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.) During initialization, the LED blinks in green.

4) When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the 4 times. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.)

5) Press the Power button. The LED lights in green, and the
selected function is performed. (When the operation completes, the printer returns to the menu selection mode automatically.)

6) Power off then back on and test.

    Start with the printer OFF:

    1. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
    2. release RESUME
    3. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
    4. Let green light blink until printer is done futzing


    Select function with RESUME press POWER to execute:

    presses - light color - function

    0 - green - Pressing power button will turn off printer
    1 - orange - Service Test Print
    2 - green - EEPROM Information Print
    3 - orange - Initialize EEprom data
    4 - green - Reset Waste ink Counter
    5 - orange - Mode to set Destination code
    (1: Overseas, 2: Domestic)
    6 - green - Refresh printhead (cleaning mode)

Canon i350 waste tank full: how to reset


Solution:

Download the I320 Service Tool (.exe), run the i320 service tool and follow the steps below:

  1. Install the print head, and while holding down the POWER button, plug in the AC cable (the green lamp lights up.)
  2. While still holding down the POWER button, press the RESUME button twice and release the POWER button to enter the Service Mode (each press of the RESUME button changes the LED color: the LED lights in orange the first time, and in green at the second time.)
  3. Connect the printer to the computer, select "USB PORT" using the i320 service tool.
  4. Destination setting: other than Japan: select "1" in "SET DESTINATION", Japan: select "2" in "SET DESTINATION". EEPROM is reset at the same time when the destination is set.
